Management of the Authority

Strategic and tactical management is the responsibility of the Finnish Food Authority's management team:

Operational management is the responsibility of the management teams of the lines and operational entities, the management teams of the departments and units, and the digital product management team. Matters common to all lines and operational entities are dealt with by the joint management team.  

The task of the Finnish Food Authority's internal audit is to investigate the appropriateness and adequacy of internal control and risk management for the Finnish Food Authority's management and to carry out audit tasks.
