Your heart, lungs, muscles, bones and joints grow stronger. Your basic fitness level improves and you feel better all over. Exercise has positive effects on your blood pressure and the fat and sugar metabolism of your blood, as well as helping with weight control.

Regular exercise and a healthy diet together have a significant impact on your health. Adults should get at least 30 minutes of exercise every day. If you exercise more than this, the health benefits are increased. Children should get at least an hour of versatile exercise a day, and preferably more.
