The Finnish Food Authority will temporarily lay off all its personnel in phases for two weeks at a time in late 2024. This is done in order to achieve our financial and operational adjustment target. Due to this and other adjustment measures, the Finnish Food Authority’s service level will be somewhat reduced.
There may also be delays in the customer service of Finnish Food Authority laboratories. Delays may occur in all operations and all Finnish Food Authority laboratories in Oulu, Kuopio, Seinäjoki, Loimaa and Helsinki. However, the laboratories aim to serve their customers as well as possible and will target any delays at non-urgent testing.
If there are significant delays in any services, we will communicate about these separately.
