Examinations on Trichinella

In meat inspections, studies are performed to determine possible presence of larvae of Trichinella in animal species prone to contamination. Annually, Finnish Food Authority arranges reference investigations for meat inspection laboratories, the results from these being applied when authorizing laboratories.
