The main aim of the project is to build capacity for assessing the probability of pest freedom gained in past (PWN) surveys. The practical objectives, which will ensure that the main aim is achieved, are
- to modify the FinnSURV-Assess PWN application so that it can be used to assess the statistical confidence of pine wood nematode surveys in all the participating countries,
- to produce an easy-to-use web application for retrieving and analysing the GIS data needed in assessing the statistical confidence of pine wood nematode surveys, and
- to assess the probability of freedom from pine wood nematode gained in the past surveys in the participating countries.
